How do I pay?

Ten of Ireland’s eleven toll roads have regular barrier toll plazas and you can pay there and then with cash or card. The M50 is the only toll road whereby it isn’t required to stop. This toll uses an amazing video and sensor capture system to take note of your registration number.

The easiest and best way to pay for tolls in Ireland is to sign up for a Toll Tag Account and save time, money and the hassle and headache of missing a payment deadline.

You can also pay for your M50 journeys at designated Payzone outlets across the country or you can pay online right here.

What happens if I don't pay for my M50 journey?

If you use the M50, and you're not registered with a tag provider, you are required to make a toll payment before 8:00pm the following day. Failure to make payments on time will result in penalties issued to you. You can pay online right here.
