Account Types

By opening up an account via the many tag providers you will never have to worry about missing next day payment deadlines or having the right change as they approach a toll plaza.

Depending on your tag provider, there are two different account options to choose from:

  • Pre-paid; and
  • Post-paid.

Post-Paid Accounts

A post-paid account allows the customer to set up an account with a tag provider to pay the toll charges incurred during that month at the end of the month. Payment dates can vary. Refer to your tag provider for more details.

You can choose from a variety of different payment options such as:

  • Direct debit;
  • Credit card; and
  • Debit card.

Pre-Paid Accounts

With a pre-paid account, you top up your account with a chosen amount in advance. Customers are then automatically ‘topped-up’ when their account reaches the previously specified minimum level.

You can choose from a variety of different payment options such as:

  • Direct debit;
  • Credit card; and
  • Debit card.

Cash Account

A cash account enables a customer to ‘top-up’ their tag with credit in advance using cash payments.

There are two options;

  • Option 1 – Pay at one the many PostPoint outlet located across Ireland
  • Option 2 – Pay at an OmniVend kiosk located in convenience stores nationwide
